Reseña del libro "Eternity with Jesus: : Now and Forever (en Inglés)"

Can, and should, a gifted scientist with the best of intentions to bring this wayward world back to God pierce the veil of time and otherworldly dimensions? A brilliant Hispanic physicist, recruited by non other than the President of the United States and employed in the top-secret microcosm of Nevada's Area 51, has perfected time travel into the past. His goal is to travel to Nazareth in the year 12 AD and observe the young Jesus in his familial and social setting under the cloak of invisibility in the hopes of bringing back something of great value to our modern wayward world and turn people's hearts back to God. Great danger in attempting this travel exists, but the swashbuckling genius scientist Dr. Escamilla is undeterred as he himself is a Roman Catholic of great faith and devotion. However, he is soon schooled not only in the terrors and wonders of Jesus' society and times but also in the afterlife by the author of creation Himself. Will he survive physically and with his sanity intact upon his return? I wrote this book with the primary goal of alerting Catholic and Protestant Christians with the impending reality of the afterlife. Much of modern Christianity focuses disproportionately on the perfection of God's love and increasingly less on the other aspects of His perfection that do not make us feel warm and fuzzy but which nonetheless are very real. A prime example of this is His perfect justice and the role that this plays in where we will find ourselves after death. The niche which this novel will fit into ranges from lukewarm or lapsed Catholics, and Protestants whose earthly sufferings do not fit into the unrealistic overly sweet descriptions of the great earthly benefits which will come when they become Christians as many Sunday morning televangelists portray. It will likewise fill the void of so many Christians who are suffering not only with their many and varied crosses but also those who feel unattended, not listened to, or delegitimized by other Christians who inwardly derogate them for their lack of faith and blame that aspect of themselves for their difficulties and thus fail in their own Christian duties to love them. God's perfect justice is portrayed not as a condemnation but rather as the soul's own judgement vis a vis its coming into Jesus's presence after death and seeing that the temporal punishment due to sin is real indeed.
