The book examines the two oldest sources that have recorded Jesus' ministry ("Mark", and "Q", where "Q" is the source of sayings that Matthew and Luke have in common). Presented together as a harmony in this book, these sources give us the best idea on what the Jesus of history actually taught. They reveal a Jesus unburdened by dogmatic formulas developed after his death. The author furthermore contrasts this historical Jesus against what the Old Testament teaches about Salvation, and against what Saint Paul teaches about Salvation. What is the result?
