ONE NATION UNDER OZ is dedicated to William Patrick Carr who died on December 10, 2000 and to Gary Webb, author of DARK ALLIANCE: THE CIA, THE CONTRAS AND THE CRACK COCAINE EXPLOSION (1998), who died on December 10, 2004 and to Peter Brewton, author of THE MAFIA, CIA and GEORGE BUSH (1992) whose investigative journalism in Houston, Texas had help lay the groundwork for Webb's tenacious reporting. All proceeds from this book and Vol. 2-3 will support the William Patrick Carr Foundation which provides scholarships for investigative journalism students at Texas Tech University where Brewton is a professor and Northern Kentucky University, Gary Webb's alma mater.
